Our Smoke and Fire Alarm systems are tailored to suit specific requirements and customer’s budgets. Our systems can include Smoke, Heat or Flame Detection and optional CCTV.
Why install a smoke alarm?
We fit two types of Smoke Alarms. You can choose between a mains powered model or a more traditional battery operated version. The mains powered model will still require a battery but its primary use is as a backup facility in case the electricity supply is cut. Traditional Smoke Alarms require the battery changing. Usually you will know this because your Smoke Alarm will alert you by omitting a high pitched beeping noise. Whichever Smoke Alarm you choose make sure it is displays the British Standard Kite mark.
How many smoke alarms should I have?
Ideally you should have one smoke alarm for every room in your home. Where this is not possible the minimum requirement is one for every floor. It is always advisable to have one fitted in bedrooms of your young children
